Introduction

It is a unique narration of their experience by two brothers hailing from Raipur (M.P. now Chattisgarh) in pursuit of the truth, who had met their Sadguru Swami Asimananda Saraswati (Thakur) of Ramchandrapur, Purulia District, West Bengal, by a divine arrangement and were initiated by him and later in Saanyas. Following Saanyas the two brothers were named Swami Alokananda Saraswati and Swami Amalananda Saraswati. By their Guru’s grace, total surrender to God and austere spiritual practice they survived through the biting cold of Haridwar, lack of food, hunger, physical afflictions and adversities of all varieties.

At their Guru’s behest they are engaged in preaching naam samkeertan since last thirty years all over India. Their centre of activity is Raghunathpur, Purulia District, West Bengal, named Shree Shree Bijoy Krishna Bhakta Sangha. People with worldly afflictions keep visiting them for solace and peace.

This is a book which one can hardly afford to miss. This book is so engrossing that one cannot afford to from start to finish, once having started reading it.
